The Outlaw Demon Wails was Great

I finished reading this book a few nights ago and I must say Kim Harrison has out done herself. One of the best yet.

Wow there were some things revealed that I didn't see coming at all. Rachel learns a lot about herself in this book that she didn't even see coming. I don't want to write any spoilers here so you have got to read this book. You will be shocked. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out where a story is going. I stopped reading mysteries because I usually would have already decided on the outcome before getting halfway through the book.

With Kim's books, I never know where she's going. Rachel has so much going on in her life and there are so many characters that you never know which way things are going to go. I love that. I love not knowing how the story is going to end.

The twists and turns of the story line and plot leave you guessing and wanting more. I know I want more. Unfortunately another book won't be out until 2009. Ugh. So far the books have come pretty close together but I guess she needs a break. I just want to know what's going to happen. Will Rachel ever figure out who killed Kisten? Will she hook up with anyone else? I have my thoughts, but I won't say anything here because it may reveal too much about what went on in The Outlaw Demon Wails.
