Writer's Digest Interview with Laurell K Hamilton

OK, first of all I'm totally psyched. I just love Laurell. I think she is amazing. This interview is great. She is definitely a genre busting author, bending things her way not the way others wanted her to be. If you are a fan make sure you check out the interview.

Second, I'm ticked. Not really but...I've been trying for months to get an "in" to Laurell so I could do an interview with her. Maybe some day.

Anyway her newest Anita Blake novel will be out in June, Blood Noir. Can't say I'm too thrilled with the cover, but I'm more concerned with what's inside than how the cover looks anyway. I've already got mine on pre-order. Her next Merry Gentry book will be out toward the end of this year.

Rainsoaked up at O&C

My poem Rainsoaked was published today at Oysters and Chocolate. Orginally scheduled for April I guess they decided to run it a little early.

This is my absolute favorite poem that I have written. It combines sex, rain and being in the garden. A few of my favorite things.

For those who don't know I am an avid gardener. I just love to get my hands dirty. And to place a sensual experience in the garden covered with steamy rain on a hot summer day...oh...the most erotic form of heaven ever.

Anyway, check out the poem and the new formatting for Oysters and Chocolate, very cool.
