This
is a sizzling hot blog! Thank you so much for welcoming me as a guest!
I
normally write science fiction with a dab of romance, but my novel
"Undercover" breaks that trend. It's set in the present, on Earth,
and the main characters face challenges that might not be common, but could
happen. Well, they could happen in my imagination, anyway…
I
pretty much wrote this book on a dare. Someone said my books were okay, but
needed a bit more steam, so I wanted to do something with a couple murders and
sex scenes. I was really proud of myself too, until my editor cut most of it
out. She's right, if people are used to getting one kind of book from an
author, they might become both surprised and disappointed if the style changes
too much.
Anyway,
now I have a big pile of deleted scenes. I've wanted to do something with them,
but not been able to figure out what. I realize I can't compete with authors
writing erotica, but being a guest here still seems like an excellent
opportunity to share one of them. In this deleted scene, the main characters
Jenny and Alexei are on the run from justice. They're hiding out in a hotel
room, able to relax for the first time for days.
Inside the bathroom, Jenny and Alex listened to their children. She bit
her lip not to laugh. "Imagine when she becomes a teenager. I can see you
sneaking around in the bushes with a shotgun, trying to hunt down any boyfriend
of hers."
Anyone could see Lindsay was growing up to be a beauty, and with that
strong will, she'd be a handful. Jenny stopped thinking about the children as
his hands wandered up under her shirt.
"I think this is mine. I need it back."
His hands on her skin were intoxicating, sending shivers of delight
through her body. She still answered cheekily, "If you want it, you'll
have to try ‘n take it."
He did. There wasn't anywhere to run, and fighting him for it was
useless, but she still tried. It ended up with him grinning, holding both her
hands over her head with one hand and pulling the shirt up with the other. She
never understood how he did it, but in the next moment, her hands were secured
with the shirt, tied to the shower, and he cupped both his hands over her
breasts, smiling.
She mumbled, "How did you do that," but forgot about it the
moment he kissed her neck while running his hands down her body to squeeze her
butt instead of her breasts.
She leaned her head back, closed her eyes and moaned, and he teased her
with his tongue against the sensitive skin under her ear, at the same time as
one of his hands found its way in between her legs, exploring the warm and
moist place down there, carefully at first, but soon bolder.
Feeling his caress and his finger teasingly disappear up inside her was nice,
but not as nice as other parts would be. As hard as she tried, she couldn't get
her hands free, and her mouth was much too busy moaning with pleasure to want
to talk. He knew anyway, of course, he was just teasing her, and he soon lifted
her up, pinning her between the wall and his hard body.
She wrapped her legs around his waist, and he groaned when he entered
her. It was easy for him to hold her up, she knew she wasn't heavy to him.
Alex's makeshift knot finally slipped open, and she got her arms free to
hold on to him. How could he always make her feel so wonderfully hot and happy?
Then, all thoughts disappeared as her body took over, rending uncontrollable
waves of pleasure, at the same time as he exploded inside of her.

Book Description:
When Jenny Moore meets Alexei Roshenko, it's love at first sight. The tall, dark and handsome stranger appears to be the answer to every romantic fantasy any woman ever had. There is however more to him than meets the eye, and a dark and violent past is catching up with him. When Jenny decides to follow him back to Russia, she gets entangled in a web of deceit and secrets beyond her wildest imagination.
Author Bio:
Born in Sweden in the early 1970's, Maria showed a large interest for books at an early age. Even before she was able to read or write, she made her mom staple papers together into booklets she filled with drawings of suns and planets. She proudly declared them, "The Sun Book." They were all about the sun. She also claimed, to her mother's horror, that her being on Earth was a big mistake and that her alien family would come and bring her home at any moment. This never happened, but both the interest in space and the passion for bookmaking stayed with her.
As an adult Maria's creativity got an outlet through playing bass in a number of rock bands, and through writing technical manuals and making web pages for various companies and organizations. She did write drafts for a few novels, but the storytelling muse was mostly satisfied through role playing online on Myspace. It was here, while writing stories together with people from around the globe, she stumbled onto Mike. They started talking out of character, and she moved over to Florida to him late 2008. Today the two are married and live in the Tampa Bay area with three rescue dogs.
Besides writing and playing bass, Maria enjoys driving off-road, archery, and Tameshigiri.
