What inspired you to become an author?
I’ve always been a writer but I suppose at
some point all writers have to either take the leap and get serious about their
writing or continue writing to their diaries. It took someone else pointing out
to me that my writing might actually be worth reading, to brave sharing it with
others. I might still be writing into the abyss of my journal if not for a
rather unlikely individual asking me if my major was journalism.
Do you write in different genres?
I love reading BDSM erotica and paranormal
romance. So it’s only natural that I combine those elements in my writing.
Do you title the book first or wait until after it’s
complete?
Usually I wait until I’ve finished writing
a book to come up with a title. Very rarely is the working title the one I end
up publishing.
Is the book, characters, or any scenes based on a
true life experience, someone you know, or events in your own life?
Only one but it happens to be one of my
more sensual scenes. So I’ll leave it to my readers’ imagination to try and
guess which one ;) It takes place in my upcoming release, Eternal Ever After,
which comes out in December. Usually, I draw on my vivid imagination but I’m
sure what I read influences my writing. I do research for what I don’t know,
BDSM included, because I’m more of a vanilla HEA kind of gal in real life.
What books/authors have influenced your life?
Being a very naughty Catholic and a
romance reader, I fell in love with the Original Sinners series. So I’m a huge
Tiffany Reisz fan girl. It’s very evident to anyone who reads my blog.
If you had to choose, which writer would you
consider a mentor?
I’d definitely have to say Kathy Kulig, an
Ellora’s Cave author. She’s the current president of the local RWA chapter and
she’s helped me with various resources and beta reading.
What book are you reading now?
Currently, I’m reading and reviewing Baby
Got Back (anal erotica) — Edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel. The best part about
being a book blogger in addition to writing is that my reading addiction gets
fed for free ;)
What is your current “work in progress” or upcoming projects?
You can expect Eternal
Ever After in December. It’s the
Gothic Cinderella story of 22-year-old Holly Ellis, a barista, who
meets her unwilling prince charming. Arie, our prince, is an ancient
vampire and Chief Justice of the Council of Sanguis. He serves the

Cursed Ever After is an erotic
paranormal short story anthology. It’s the prequel to Eternal Ever After and includes bonus material that gives readers a
sneak peak at this upcoming release.
