This is my girl, Ginger. 

She found me ten years ago.

I formly believe that many animals will pick their humans.

And she picked me.

I don't know where she came from but one day she was just "there". It was summer and I went next door to my mom's and there she was. She was so pretty. I petted her and talked to her. Then when I came home she followed me. She walked right in the house.

Of course my husband shooed her out. It took a few months before he let her come in and stay- and that was because it was getting cold and he caved. I am glad he did.

She's the best cat I've ever had- she has such a big personality and a loving heart.

For all these years she's been my kitty companion. She sits by me all day while I work and cuddles with me in the evening when I am ready to relax. She watches over the kids at night when they sleep.

Whenever anyone is sick she hovers like a caring nurse. She even my made my cat hating, non-pet wanting husband fall for her.
