I'm Trying HelloFresh You Can Too - Get $40 Off Your First Delivery

I keep seeing everyone post about the meal delivery plans so I decided to give one a try.

I've heard good things about HelloFresh and I received a coupon code.

It ends up being around $10 per meal. That's cheaper than going out to eat and around the same as getting fast food or take out. And it saves me much time when it comes to trying to figure out what to make, plan a menu and go grocery shopping (only to get home and realize I am still missing ingredients).

I received my first box today. I'm trying just the two person plan because Little Man is extremely picky and rarely eats what we do anyway (I always have to make him something different) and the teen is hardly home for dinner between work and her social life.

This big box arrived with everything neatly packed inside a cooler box. Each meal is packed in an individual box except for the meat which was under a huge ice pack to keep it cold.
Serving details and instructions included.

Now all I have to do is figure out which dinner to make tonight.

There's a pork dinner, chicken dinner and steak dinner.

I opted out of seafood.

I'll keep you posted.

our first HelloFresh dinner was phenomenal. We did the Pineapple Pork Chops.

I had my doubts, I was afraid all the green stuff would scare away the hubby, but it turned out great and he ate everything on his plate.

I was very pleasantly surprised.

Now, this is definitely adult food. I don't think too many kids would appreciate the flavor combos.
I loved the convenience of having it delivered to my door, of having everything for the recipe right there and complete instructions, I loved experimenting and trying new flavors.

The only thing that could have made it better was if a little chef came in the box and cooked it for me.
