When Lovers Grow Apart with Annie Nicholas

Most romance books focus on new couples, people who have just met. I love these stories too, but in reality should the romance stop after they’ve become a couple?

In the Vanguards series the first book was such a story when Sugar and Daedalus first met. The following books had different heroes and heroines as the focus but Sugar and Daedalus’ relationship was always in the background. Their greatest issue was Sugar’s refusal to become a vampire, even when hurt and on death’s door she wanted to remain human.

Every couple, at some point, drifts apart but true love is what makes them work to bridge those gaps and bring them back together. This book is Sugar’s and Daedalus’ struggle.

About the Author:

Annie Nicholas hibernates in the rural, green mountains of Vermont where she dreams of different worlds, heroes, and heroines. Congrats on the new release, Annie!
I like revisiting couples in series, especially ones with issues as big as Sugar's and Daedalus'.
Thank you for sharing.
