Do
you write in different genres?
Elements of romance will always be in my books, but
for the most part I have specific genres I love, i.e. mystery, suspense, and
paranormal.
If
yes, which is your favorite genre to write?
There’s no favorite, but whatever I’m writing at the
time is what I’m really into. I just finished a suspense romance, and now I’m
working on the final book in the Sweet as Sin series.
Do
you title the book first or wait until after it’s complete?
I title all my books at the beginning of the
process. If the publisher doesn’t like it once she’s finished reading it, we’ll
hash out something different. Usually the first pick sticks.
Is
there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
Devil’s play is more of an interlude between Sweet
as Sin and the last book in the series. It’s an erotic bridge that shows how
much Drake and Sienna are in love with each other and what they will do for
each other.
What
is your current “work in progress” or upcoming projects?
That last book in the Sweet as Sin series is a work in progress. I think it puts the
whole series in prospective.
Is
there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
Anxiety-I don’t know if other authors feel stressed
about finishing, but at some point in every book I wonder, ‘Will this book have
an ending?’. I plot out books so I know the ending, but somewhere in the middle
it seems so far away.
Do
you have any advice for other writers?
Write all the time. The more you do it, the better
you get at it.
Do
you have a song or playlist (book soundtrack) that you think represents this
book?
I love this question … I absolutely have a playlist
for this book.
Delta Rae, Bottom of the River
Katy Perry, Wide Awake Remix
Parov Stelar, Booty Swing
Nina Simone, I’m Feeling Good (this song is in every
books playlist)
Florence and the Machine, Addicted to Love
Drake and Rihanna, Take Care Syko remix

Snuggled within the warm embrace of marital bliss, biologically altered army Captain Drake Devilin and his supernatural bride Sienna face their biggest challenge to date. Called back for duty in World War II, Drake must leave his amazing life behind and join his troop to fight the Nazis. Although he’s certain his new mission is merely a rouse to obtain his most precious commodity, his wife, Drake leaves, but not before giving Sienna a magical necklace in the hope it will protect her against unknown enemies.
Lured from her prosperous island by a sorcerer who is convinced she was always meant to be his bride. Sienna is challenged to play three magical games to ensure her husband’s safe return. In each game, a limited time is given to Sienna to immerse herself into a new world, situation, and persona; find Drake; and have him acknowledge her by name. And she can’t use her powers to make it happen.
Everything dear to Sienna’s heart is put in jeopardy. Willing to fight for the love of her life and her happiness, Sienna takes on the sorcerer in his own game of cat and mouse.
