Do you write in different genres?
I write mostly
Young Adult Paranormal Romance, but I have a couple of New Adult and Erotic
novels too. I like to try new things with my writing.
If yes which is your favorite genre to write?
Young
Adult is really where my heart is.
Do you title the book first or wait until after it’s
complete?
It depends. Sometimes, it’s the title that gives me the story, and
sometimes I’m stumped on what to call the book until the very end.
Is there a message in your novel that you want
readers to grasp?
If you want something, fight for it. Ignore the haters, and
be you, no matter what.
What book are you reading now?
White Hot Kiss by
Jennifer Armentrout
What books are in your to read pile?
I have 42 books
in that pile, do you want them all? Lol. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare is
next on the list, and Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan.
What is your current “work in progress” or upcoming projects?
Currently, I’m working on the final book in the Caged Trilogy, the sequel to
Defiant in the Blaze Trilogy, and the fourth book in the Unfortunate Blood
series. Very busy!
Can you share a little of your current work with us?
Sure. Here’s a little snippet from Angelic Nightmare, the fourth Unfortunate
Blood novel:
** Reid **
So far, the Winter Ball had been as dull and sickly as every other year Reid had been at Acorn Hills Academy, if not even more boring. He always came stag to the Winter Ball, which meant he could dance with and kiss as many girls as he liked, but this year, he had no interest in that. This year, the sight of all the girls in their fluffy, overdone dresses did not attract him one bit, and the ones who kept eyeing him longingly were irritating him.
This year, he was waiting for one girl, and everyone here knew it.

He
smiled at the thought of Ember. He couldn’t imagine her showing up in one of
those poofy dresses, getting all starry-eyed and giggly about the decorations
and the dancing. No, she’d probably come in wearing her boots and one of her
offensive t-shirts, and set fire to the tail of Kara’s hideous pink flamingo
dress.
He couldn’t wait until she arrived. Then they could really get this party started.
Just as he thought it, he felt eyes on him – not like the miserable, wistful stares of the other girls, but the hot, soft kind of stare that felt like fingers stroking the back of his neck. It was a stare he felt as much as sensed, and he smiled. Ember had arrived.
Both relieved and excited by her arrival, Reid turned and saw her. He found her eyes first, as always, sparkling gems of cool blue ice. Her caramel-blonde hair was teased into soft waves around her face, gold glitter dusted across her eyelids, and sultry plum-coloured lipstick on her lips. Beautiful as an angel, but that smirk belonged to the devil, and he loved it.
Curious to know which offensive t-shirt she’d chosen for tonight – she had a collection of them – he slid his gaze down from her face, and felt his jaw hit the floor. He had to blink twice to be sure of what he was seeing, because Ember wasn’t wearing a t-shirt – she was in a dress. But not just any dress. It was a long, silky sheath that clung to her hips and tiny waist, with lace off-the-shoulder sleeves and a daring slit up one side all the way to the hip, so that when she took a step, he got just a glimpse of leg.
Oh, and the entire dress was the deep, luscious red of blood.

Excerpt:
When sleep
finally, blissfully claimed me that night, I was delighted to find myself
dreaming of Spencer standing by the sparkling stream, sunlight sliding buttery
fingers over his bare chest and catching in his tousled ebony hair. I smiled at
him, my heart fluttering in my chest at the sight of him, and stumbled out of
the shade of the trees toward him. He looked up at my arrival, and his blue
eyes lit up with almost unbearable happiness.
“Tilly,” he
breathed, staring at me in disbelief. Planning
I grinned and
practically threw myself into his arms. He caught me and crushed me close
against his chest, resting his cheek on the top of my head.
“God, you have
no idea how worried I’ve been about you,” he murmured, pulling back to cup my
face in his hands.
His blue eyes
burned into mine, and my breath caught as the searing intensity of his gaze
pierced me all the way to my toes. “You have no idea how good it is to see
you,” I returned quietly, and before he could reply, I leaned into him and
kissed him.
I felt the
thrill sink into my bones, and I locked my arms around his neck. His lips
pressed softly on mine, but I wanted more.
